I felt like wasting some time and writing about how I usually play MGO.
My balanced choice of skill sets is hawkeye 3 monomania 3 quarterback 3 Assualt Rifle 1
I like hawkeye, if you try to level it up you'll develop a knack for using first person view shooting. The advantages of hawkeye is of course for long distance sniping when not using a sniper rifle. I often use the AK because I can see the head of an enemy better than using a M4's iron sight. But that's just a minor preference I often use any assault rifle. I also notice the zoom rate for the XMB improves because of the dot scope. Regular scopes won't improve the zoom rate.
I've tried out setting the assault rifle's burst to one shot burst. This seems to ease recoil a whole lot because of pulse firing.
If you looked at my records it would show you that I have auto-aimed more people than people auto locking on me. I use auto-aim only when I'm very close to the enemy and in their blindside.
Today I've tried out using smg and I've got to realize how it's constant fire when aiming at the head is so much easier than with an assault rifle. Maybe I was playing in a room with not enough head shooting pros. SMG is best used med to close combat. It's auto aim reach is very far but body shots with an SMG is not guaranteed unless your opponent had some of his life shaved off by previous encounters.
I've realized how important it is to maneuver out of sniping areas. when in Sniper fire I try to roll away to a safe zone away from the sniper's scope. Rolling to on your stomach and crouch running away is a good maneuver. Also when you feel like you're about to reach a corner and the split second of being safe from sniper fire it's good to use the cardboard box. It always seems like the split second I get cover I get head shot.
I've been trying to use boxing. When in a gunfight the opponent would be aiming at your head. By using the cardboard box and face another direction should help keep his cross hairs away from your head.
The first person moving action where you can move left to right, kneel and move left to right is a maneuver I have no tried for myself. I think that's where I should take my fpv skills next time i'm in training.
I noticed almost a full clip of gsr can wipe out an opponents life when using auto-aim. Again best in their blindspots.
That's about it.

thanks for the tips lol. i'll keep this in mind also when i come face to face with you again.
lmao.. WILL THIS INFO REALLY SAVE YOU FROM ME! XDD
I see you're hiding more things lol. You have any tips on Sniping. It seems that's the only way I can go head to head with the Level 12 guys now.
So you've chosen a role of sniper? I'm a roamer, seeking any enemies but I try to stick close to allies that are near.
hmm you ever tried sniper with fpv while popping out of cover? maybe camo would help if it blends you in where you are sniping.
I don't think i have any good tips in sniping. You should see if the mastery skill of sniper rifle helps you.
i found the reason why they were; "So with that being said, Dattebayo will be dropping Naruto Shippuuden permanently on 1/15/2009, which, interestingly enough, will probably be around episode 91. This is not a joke or a troll. The staff voted in favor of it, and I've notified the international groups." the blog: http://www.dattebayo.com/pr/100 | |
